Our Easter Eggers have such beautiful colors both feathers and eggs. The APA does not recognize the Easter Egger as a breed and they are a hybrid.  These Easter Eggers are different from alot of others, most girls will have cute face muffs!  While most of these girls lay blue eggs, some will lay green, olive, or pinkinsh tan.  Most people like to get two or three for varied egg color. Easter Eggers are friendly and loving and usually lay a large egg.  They are cold hardy and docile and friendly, and lay alot of eggs, 4-6 per week (thats approx 280/year!  Easter Eggers are friendly and a top pick for children.  ( Note that a hen will lay only a single color of egg, so if she lays blue, she will always lay blue, a hen cannot 'switch' egg colors)
