Who doesn't love an Olive Egger!  These girls are created by crossing a dark brown egg layer with a blue egg layer. Hens can look different depending on which two breeds were used. These F1 generation hybrids typically lay an olive-colored egg, however, the olive can be in various shades and because she is a hybrid, the potential does exist to lay eggs of different colors such as tinted, etc.  Olive Eggers will lay PLENTIFUL amounts of eggs, around 4-6 dark olive to light teal eggs per week.  If you breed these offspring, they will be considered an F2 Oliver Egger, the F2's eggs are darker olive than that of their parents.  These girls are hardy in all climates.  There is a 1/16 th chance of a brown egg with F1 generation olive eggers.
