If you are looking for pretty girls, that are sweet and produce a TON of eggs, look no further. This lovely hybrid,  Blue Australorp and RIR cross produes 280-300 eggs/year! The lovely blue or blue and copper hens are very docile and sweet (from the Australorp breed), and make a great family addition, and can go with mixed flocks, as they are mild mannered due to the Australorp.   Expect ALOT of eggs from these pretty girls.  Hens can be ALL Blue, or a mix of Blue and Copper.
