Friendly and curious, Super Blues are prolific layers of large-extra large, blue-tinted (usually) eggs, averaging 6 eggs a week, even during the heat of summer! (note that all birds take a break during fall molt). These pretty girls are white with some splashes or speckles and some have face muffs--note, Super Blues are a hybrid so there is a chance (~13%) that you will not get a blue egg. However, they will still be prolific layers. The blue color eggs may be anywhere from pale blue to a more intense, aqua blue. These girls are cold and heat hardy, gorgeous, and perfect for Colorado weather. They are cold hardy and do well in Colorado. Most hens have a pea comb, but some (about 13% have a full comb). Note that your Super Blue Can frizzle (about a 30% chance)
